Hotel Des Deux Continents (Paris, France)

Even though all of Paris is beautiful, you will really enjoy your hotel's area the most. The neighborhood is full of boutiques, chocolate shops, famous patisseries, and some of the city's best architecture.

Not only is the neighbourhood beautiful but the interior decoration of the hotel is just as impressive. With dim lighting and antique furniture, yet functional and modern amenities, you may get the feeling that you are in 19th century France.

Whether you are preparing for a long day of sightseeing or just came back from a day of museum hopping, you will be delighted to know that you will have a comfortable bed with high-quality sheets and a superb mattress waiting back at the hotel for you.

While others may disagree, some guests found that the staff were not very friendly and seemed bothered by guests' inquiries and requests.

Much like most hotels in Paris, you will find that the rooms are quite small, especially if you are staying in an area that is as old as Saint-Germain des Prés. Previous guests have commented that the hotel's spiral staircase, small showers and compact rooms were somewhat challenging.

According to some previous guests, they were less than impressed with the Internet connection and service. Some have reported that either the connection kept dropping out or that it was not working at all. If you will need the Internet while on a working holiday, then this hotel may not be for you.
