Positive Reviews
positive:
Very convenient location
Guests seemed to like the location for all sorts of different reasons. Firstly, it was described as just off the highway, making it both easy to find and convenient when traveling to and fro. Also, several guests found decent shopping and dining nearby. They really didn't have to travel far to meet their needs, unless they really wanted to.
positive:
Decent value for money
While guests certainly had a number of issues with the hotel, many went on to add that the room rate was very good for the area. Some found that they could look past the issues and felt they received good value for money.
positive:
Easy check-in and check-out
A couple of guests mentioned that the check-in and check-out procedures seemed to work well, with none of the craziness that often accompanies these at busy times. Things seemed to flow very smoothly.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Problems with room allocation
While, unfortunately, not all that uncommon at hotels, a few guests reported that they would book one type of room, only to be told on check-in that there were no rooms of that type left. They wondered what the point of the reservation was if they were just going to give away already booked rooms.
negative:
Pool area not up to scratch
It was hard to find a good word written about the pool area. It seemed to attract multiple complaints, from some saying the water was too warm to many saying that the water and general area was not kept clean.
negative:
Room cleanliness issues
This came up quite often. Guests had a variety of complaints, but looking at the reviews it seems that their might be a lack of oversight and control, resulting in a particular room's cleanliness being dependent on exactly which housekeeper was assigned to that room.
