Positive Reviews
positive:
Excellent airport shuttle
An extraordinary number of guests went out of their way to mention that the airport shuttle the hotel uses was truly excellent. They found it easy to use and never seemed to find themselves standing around waiting for it, but where rather quickly whisked from the airport to the hotel.
positive:
Good food all round
The hotel has an onsite café-restaurant and bar. Guests were clearly impressed with the food coming out its kitchen, saying that it was both delicious and well prepared, with the bonus that the kitchen stayed open late, allowing them to dine when it got a little cooler.
positive:
Good air conditioning
Guests were very happy to report that their room air conditioner worked properly and was, unlike some other places in the tropics, actually strong enough to deal with the crazy tropical heat and humidity.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Very poor English language skills
Many guests complained that it was difficult to communicate with the staff, since they could speak very little English, if any at all. This seemed to be a particular problem for those guests who were using English as a second language. It’ll be a good idea to brush up on your Spanish beforehand.
negative:
Gym exceptionally poor
Guests didn’t have anything good at all to say about the fitness room. Many mentioned that machines were broken and that it was simply impossible to get in any sort of a decent workout with what was available. Also mentioned was that the room wasn’t air conditioned, which made it unbearably hot.
negative:
On busy and noisy street
Guests in rooms that faced the street mentioned that it could get quite noisy down below and that this could sometimes be a problem when they were trying to sleep or relax.
