If you are looking for spotlessly clean accommodation, chances are that you will find it here.
positive:
Outstanding service.
Guests said that all of the employees at Courtyard Austin South were deserving recipients of an Employee of the Month award. Staff were found to be extremely helpful and professional, and this applied to everyone from the front desk workers to staff at the Bistro.
positive:
Convenient location.
Guests who were spending time in downtown Austin appreciated the quick commute. It was a 15-minute taxi ride away, and freeway traffic could even be avoided by taking a service side road. It was also an easy drive to San Marcos, making this a great choice if you want to be removed from the hustle and bustle but still close to the action.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Freeway noise.
Guests recommended asking for a room at the back of the hotel if you want a peaceful sleep. Traffic noise was audible for a number of guests who sometimes had to request a room change.
negative:
Elevator takes its time.
A slow elevator was on the minds of several guests who would have preferred a speedier ascent to their rooms. Some impatient guests wished that their rooms were on lower floors to avoid the long wait.
negative:
Breakfast would be nice.
For the price that guests paid, many thought that it wouldn't be asking too much to have breakfast included. Several guests noted that other hotels in a similar price category offer a complimentary breakfast, and for many guests, this would have elevated their visit from good to great.
