Positive Reviews
positive:
Well thought out rooms.
Family meals on holiday can really make a hole in the budget. Here, though, there is some respite in the form of the kitchenette in the room. It's well equipped and you can easily knock up a substantial snack to keep everyone happy. More pluses! ... Rooms are very spacious, well decorated and clean.
positive:
Busy but not crowded.
Full of families out to enjoy themselves, the range of facilities and activities is probably why the kids are so well behaved. The pools are great with the indoor one being particularly good for those learning to swim. Because there's so much space, there is never that feeling of it being cramped and overcrowded. Plenty of room for everyone.
positive:
It's camping ... but without the camping!
The hotel is part of a large camping operation so all the facilities can be used by both elements. It seems to work very well. Breakfast is extremely good. Members of staff, throughout, are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The journey from Girona Airport is easi-peasi.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Near the beach ... but not the town.
That's the real drawback. Most things are damn near perfect here, but you can't wander out and into the town. It's a good 10km car journey to ‘civilisation'.
negative:
Expensive dining.
If you don't fancy self catering, you are stuck with the hotel restaurant where food and wine selections are good ... if very much on the expensive side. The restaurant staff members only speak Spanish, so that's another issue. Lastly, the food is really very good ... but the coffee is disgusting.
negative:
No double beds.
It's the old story of pushing two singles together to create a double bed. It doesn't work.
