Positive Reviews
positive:
Hard to find fault.
Even the most discerning of guests had a hard time finding problems with immaculately clean apartments that were furnished to a high standard. Guests wanted to do a happy dance after opening the door to bright and airy accommodation, with sun-filled rooms and lots of space.
positive:
Excellent service.
Guests were given five star treatment from the moment they arrived. Someone was on hand to warmly greet them, and after that, an extensive welcome package full of local information and entertainment options set guests up for a well-informed stay.
positive:
Close to shops and restaurants.
A variety of economical dining options were about a 10-minute walk away, and guests found a cinema and shops within the same time frame. For something to do at night, live music and comedy at the Corn Exchange was a 30-minute walk away, and guests were also 30 minutes from the Arts Theatre.
Negative Reviews
negative:
There might be delays.
While most guests were promptly met by a kind apartment representative, those who were unexpectedly arriving early were in for a wait. There is no dedicated reception desk at Citystay - Glenalmond, which could pose a problem for some.
negative:
Ask for air-conditioning.
If it is going to be hot during your stay, many guests recommended the rental of an air-conditioning unit. It seems that apartments are generally on the hot side, and some guests had a battle with temperamental thermostats that ran hot even on warm days.
negative:
Keep the windows closed.
Guests looking to escape the heat were unfortunately met with some noise. Traffic and pedestrian noise was considered a potential issue, and the sound from routine passing trains was also unwelcome when windows were ajar.
