Hotel Casa Boccassini (Venice, Italy)

Those who have stayed at Casa Boccassini have all enjoyed the respite of the courtyard garden — a nice oasis of green amongst the water and tourist overload.

While the major tourist attractions are still easily reachable, the hotel is in a peaceful spot with lots of options for cheap eating, is close to vaporetto stops, and even to the ferries departing north to Murano.

The polite and helpful staff and the overall decent rooms — which are clean and of a reasonable size — contributed to guests finding Casa Boccassini to be good value.

With the breakfast not being anything particularly special, and furthermore not being complimentary, some guests suggested to simply buy something from a patisserie instead.

Considering the Wi-Fi is just for the lobby, it is not surprising that access in the rooms can be hit-and-miss, but keep it in mind if you have to take care of work while travelling.

Like most places in Venice, this hotel can be a little hard to find, so make sure you take note of the directions before leaving home.
