The old town hotel Platzhirsch is a small, historic city hotel with 15 rooms and suites, which meet fastidious structural, architectural and culinary requirements; it seeks to differentiate between standard hotels and convey informal exclusivity with a personal and straightforward service. Bridging the gap with the contemporary has created an interior design highlight in the Platzhirsch and its offices in the adjoining new hotel building. In developing a culinary Concept Store, the venerable features of the hotel played a dominant role. The offers and the design concept had to be in keeping with the overall concept of the rooms in the historic old building and, consequently, provide authentic, honest and transparent inspiration for prospective guests. We believe that we have met the above-mentioned criteria with our gastronomic concept in the style of a Viennese coffee house, patisserie & confiserie, roastery, delicatessen and conference location. In addition, as passionate hosts, we also want to do justice to the fundamental and original functions of a Viennese coffee house concept in the Platzhirsch.
