Positive Reviews
positive:
Professional, accommodating staff.
Staff at Ana Mandara Hue are professional in both appearance and in service delivery. The elegant traditional white dress is very fitting for the establishment and adds to the overall upmarket appeal of the resort. Front desk staff are very accommodating and can also arrange tickets, shuttle trips and any business needs.
positive:
Stunning rooms.
Rooms are a blend of traditional Vietnamese patterns and décor and modern appointments which results in a stunning blend of dark woods and warm colours with wood floors and traditional furnishings. Rooms are elegant, very clean and spacious and totally luxurious.
positive:
Beautiful, opulent en-suites.
The en-suite bathrooms are very large and clean, modern and bright with beautiful natural stone accents that really help to create a feeling of luxury and opulence. All fittings are high-end and work exceptionally well. A free standing bath surrounded by glass walls has to be the ultimate way to relax in the en-suite!
Negative Reviews
negative:
Erratic Wi-Fi can be annoying.
The free Wi-Fi signal in rooms can be quite erratic, going from fairly strong to non-existent in seconds. It is better to utilise the Wi-Fi service in the lobby where the signal is quite a bit better.
negative:
Some communication issues.
Whilst staff are professional and friendly there does seem to be somewhat of a communication problem with some staff with the notable exception of the front desk and tour desk staff. Housekeeping and spa staff seem to struggle with English beyond simple requests and questions.
negative:
Expensive restaurant, slow service.
The restaurant is fairly expensive and somewhat limited in variety. Most guests also find that the overall restaurant service is a bit on the slow side. True Vietnamese dishes are best discovered in the traditional way on the streets of Hue City.
