As well as an outdoor terrace by the bar area the rooftop pool is a great place to de-stress after a long day travelling or exploring the area. There is also a hot tub where you can relax after a few laps.

It seems as though the hotel is designed to encourage people to get together and socialise, with its well laid out seating area and fully stocked bar. The pool table in the lounge is popular and the board games a fun way to spend an hour or two.

The marina is just a short walk away along with Main Street and its variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Siesta Key Beach is approximately 20-minutes away on foot or a short car journey from the hotel. Staff are knowledgeable about the local area and are happy to advise you on the best places to visit whilst you are in town.

There is a strange lighting set up in the guestroom which means it is either too light or too dark. If you need to visit the bathroom at night you need to turn all of the lights on.

Service at the hotel has got very mixed reviews with many guests feeling strongly that it is not up to par. This includes both the attitude of the staff – a smile would go a long way – and simple things having to be requested on multiple occasions.

The rooms are very compact and are only really suitable for a night or two. If you are planning on staying longer than that you may wish to look at alternative accommodation.
