Comfortable rooms with a view
The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable with high ceilings and a number of nice touches such as the Nespresso coffee machine, free Wi-Fi and sometimes even a complimentary drink or chocolates for special occasions. To top it off the hotel goes up to seven floors high and the higher rooms will have views of either the river or the city. .

Friendly, passionate staff
The staff of Hotel 71 are frequently complimented on their professionalism, friendliness and love of their work from the front desk to the concierge's recommendations and help enjoying the city as well. Most can communicate in both English and French well. .
Negative Reviews
negative:
Quite a small restaurant
The in-house restaurant is open all day for meals and drinks, however it is very small and can get quite cramped particularly of course in peak seasons. Given the hotel's location however, there need not be any issues taking a walk around to explore the other dining options in Old Quebec. .
negative:
Steep price for valet service
As expected there is a daily charge for the hotel's valet parking service, however it is relatively high and sometimes depending on space availability, the valet may use the street parking rather than the private lot. .
negative:
May not be most suitable for younger children
Given the chic and modern interiors of the hotel and the tech perks included in the rooms (Nespresso machine, Bose surround sound system, etc.) those traveling with children may get a little nervous for damage/breakage. .
