General: Thobeka Lodge & Backpackers is a rustic and authentic African bush-style lodge in Kosi Bay, South Africa, where life is simple and in harmony with nature. We are set amongst big shady trees in a peaceful rural setting, epitomizes simplicity where there are no frills just genuine African bush living. Room Features: We offer twin rooms, double rooms, dormitories and family rooms. Each room was built according to the Zulu tradition and is separated by a rustic wooden walkway allowing you the privacy and space to kick back and enjoy uninterrupted relaxation time and includes comfortable beds, mosquito nets and a fan for those warm lazy afternoons and balmy African evenings. Property features: Beside the lapa is our swimming pool should you wish to take a dip and cool off not far from yet another cold beer. Our braai area is located next to the pool and about three steps from the lapa, so you can braai, take a dip in the pool, a swig of your beer and embrace the freedom that Thobeka offers you. Eating and Drinking: Our self-catering kitchenette is well-stocked with cooking utensils, crockery and fridges as well as tea, coffee and sugar. Or you can order a real home cooked meal from the main house. Attractions: We have a wide range of activities to explore and we are well-placed to embark on a few adventurous African experiences.
