Negative Reviews
negative:
Backpacker style accommodation not for everyone.
Kipps Backpackers is one of the leading backpackers in the country but is still not ideal for travellers not used to this type of accommodation. While some rooms offer privacy, all rooms and guests must share bathroom facilities and other public areas of the hostel.
negative:
No restaurant or bar on-site.
The backpackers features a kitchen and dining area and serves a continental-style breakfast each morning. The establishment does not have a restaurant or bar on the property and does not serve dinner. However, the location is ideal for easy access to many fine and affordable eateries and local pubs. A packed lunch can also be arranged.
negative:
Thin walls and noisy busy periods.
The backpackers can get very busy, especially with younger travellers. Rooms have thin walls with little to no soundproofing, can be quite noisy for those unused to noisy tourists or visitors that are light sleepers.
