Negative Reviews
negative:
Problems with the breakfast
There were a number of complaints relating to the breakfast. A big one was that guests were expecting a free continental style breakfast, like is available in many other hotels in this category, including many other Holiday Inn’s. They were disappointed that no such free breakfast was served here. Secondly, they felt that the buffet breakfast, even after payment, was really not very good, with insufficient variety being the main complaint.
negative:
Beds a bit uncomfortable
A surprising number of guests complained that the mattresses the hotel uses were uncomfortable. There were a number of different complaints, but one of the main ones was that the mattress was “lumpy”.
negative:
Bathrooms small and poorly designed
A number of guests reported that their bathroom was quite a bit smaller than they had hoped. The cramped conditions made them quite awkward to use, with guests saying they could barely turn around without bumping into something. Also mentioned was that there were no flat surfaces to place toiletries.
