Leith House was found to be a good choice for those looking to stay on a budget, with basic, clean rooms, good showers and free on-street parking bumping up the value.

Guests found the hotel to be close to the central city, on a bus route with frequent services headed downtown, while Princes Street was considered walkable and people found supermarkets, laundry, restaurants and pubs nearby.

You will find the reception here to be warm and hospitable, with smooth check-ins and easy departures, but a few guests have found it hard to find staff at times.

Some guests were unhappy to find they had to pay for Wi-Fi, and others were disappointed to find that a few of the rooms did not have private bathroom facilities as they had thought.

You may find that the hotel is in need of modernisation, with drab decor, some minor maintenance and the occasional damp smell reported, but overall it is at least clean.
