Negative Reviews
negative:
The walls are rather thin.
Many guests complained about the lack of soundproofing between their room and the rooms next to them, complaining that they were kept up at night by their neighbor’s TV and conversation. They were also bothered by the lack of soundproofing between the floors, with the lower floor rooms being able to hear every step taken in the room above.
negative:
It could use more windows.
While some of the rooms feature sprawling views of the lake, others have only one small window. Guests who stayed in those rooms were quite disappointed, especially because the scenery surrounding the hotel is so lovely. They also lamented the lack of natural light in these rooms.
negative:
There are some quarks in the design.
Previous guests reported a few issues with their rooms. Among other things, here were some complaints that the sink and shower taps turned the wrong way, and had come loose from guests obstinately attempting to turn them in the correct direction.
