About Hostal Gami Adults Only
Located just 700 yards from popular Sol Mol Beach, Hostal Gami Adults Only Hostel offers newly refurbished budget accommodation, and also has its own gardens and pool.
The 72 rooms range in size from singles to triples and while basic, do contain all you’ll need to get a good night’s sleep.
Hostal Gami Adults Only has some pretty good features for a budget “hostal” property. The pool terrace is undoubtedly at the centre of the hostel, and includes the sun loungers and other amenities you’d expect. Reception is on hand and can assist with tours, transfers, left luggage, car rental and storage of valuables.
There’s a terrific good value buffet restaurant on-site that serves all three meals, but of course there are plenty of dining and drinking options in the surrounding town as well.
The lovely, and somewhat wilder, beach at Cala de s’ Aguila is just 1.2 miles from Hostal Gami Adults Only.
Positive Reviews
positive:
Right on Cala Ratjada's main square
Guests really appreciated the amazing central location. While not right on any beach, this did not seem to bother any guests. They liked that they were just steps from the town's main drag and had all the cafes, bars and restaurants they could want nearby.
positive:
Excellent value for money
Gami really is a budget establishment, and guests were simply happy to get a clean private room in a central location. But with the addition of the pool and other amenities, they concluded that they really received excellent value for money.
positive:
Great pool area
Though the pool was described as being across the road, that didn't seem to bother any guests. They were simply astonished that a budget hostel could have such an amenity. The fact that it turned out to be quite lovely was just the cherry on top.
Negative Reviews
negative:
A bit too basic for some
While no guests were expecting the Savoy, certainly not at the room-rate they paid, they still felt that the rooms were just a bit too basic. It was almost as if they felt the owners could just make a tiny bit more effort and the rooms, and the rest of the hostel, would look so much better.
negative:
Poor English skills
It was pointed out that Cala Ratjada is really not a popular destination for British visitors, but seems to attract visitors from other European countries. Naturally then, the staff tended to speak those languages rather than English, resulting in poor general English skills. This in turn led to some frustrating attempts to communicate.
negative:
Very small balconies
While not mentioned very often, it was pointed out that the balconies were tiny, and not really good for much more than standing out there to have a cigarette.
