    Overlooking the Västerdalälven River, Försgården is a charming guest house that is close to the Vasaloppsstart and within 10 minutes’ drive of the popular Kläppen, Lindvallen and Sälen Ski Resorts. Guests have free access to the sauna. The tastefully decorated rooms at Försgården overlook the garden or the nearby pine forest. The hotel has 12 rooms with 40 beds with sink in room, bathroom & shower shared. À la carte dishes are served at the on-site restaurant every evening between December and April. Light refreshments and snacks are served in Försgården’s cosy bar, which has an open fireplace. Staff at Försgården can help arrange dog sledding, snowmobile safaris and skiing as well as summer activities such as canoeing, hiking and fishing. In addition, Vasaloppet, the annual long distance cross-country ski race, starts only 400 metres away.
