Staff in general seem to be friendly and accommodating. Any issues seem to be dealt with quickly and efficiently where possible. Guests comment that the landlady and bar staff alike were friendly and helpful.

There seem to have been a couple of issues with keys when guests return after the pub has closed. Guests comment that they are provided with keys to let themselves in, however there are multiple accounts of keys not working, or wrong keys provided, leaving guests stranded outside until a passer by can help.

A few guests complain that the inn markets itself as a pub with bed and breakfast, but that no breakfast is provided. However, the website is fairly clear that no breakfast is provided.

Whilst a large number of guests enjoy the alternative, boutique style to the rooms above the pub, a few guests complain that rooms have too many mirrors, and that there are semi-nude and erotic pictures on the walls.
