About Dvůr

The Dvur Guesthouse is situated on the border area around the ponds and Netolic Budejovice, Czech and Bohemian, whose first hill is located behind Prachatice (Libin m.n.m. 1091). It is located in the small village of Deer Park, whose name refers to the former Royal Degree in animals that lay around the castle in the past when very exotic animals lived there. The guest house is in a remote area, surrounded by houses within a few tens or hundreds of meters. It is a quiet place with little traffic and with the possibility to hike in the countryside just beyond the threshold of the building. Surroundings correspond with the location. Towards ponds and Ceske Budejovice you can find more commercial attractions (castle Hluboka chateau Kratochvíle, Holašovice, etc.). On the other hand, Sumava lovers will surely appreciate the wild and virgin nature. The forest remains in some places almost unchanged since the communist past, when patrolling the forests and lots of soldiers guarding the border with the West. This refers, of course, to beautiful and famous places (Kvilda, Vydra), but there are still a lot of beautiful places to discover.
