Very close (less than 3kms) to the sandy beaches of Cabourg and Houlgate, Domaine la Mare Elan is a nice and comfortable B&B with rooms in an old cider pressing shed (19th century) completely renovated or in the Cottage (5 persons max) built in pure Normandy style. You will be only five minutes from the sea but in the quiet countryside, in a large property (5 hectares). All the rooms are very large with private bathroom, TV and free wifi. The Mare Elan is a very good base to visit Normandy cause we are at 17 kms from Deauville and Caen, to 25 kms from Honfleur, at 35 minutes from the D-Day beaches (Arromanches and Omaha Beach) & Etretat, to 1h30 minutes from Le Mont Saint Michel and 1h55 from St Malo. The property offers guests: tennis and bicycles to visit the country around where you can see wild ducks, green-winged teals, storks and nutrias... Children are welcome and waited by Alberto (the lama), Reinette (the donkey) and all the ducks, chicken and geese!
