The rooms are well presented and decorated in a contemporary, minimal style with high ceilings, clean white paint and comfortable beds. Both the rooms and shared bathroom facilities are clean and well maintained.
Once a Byron Bay Dairy, Byron Springs is now a refurbished guest house providing bed and breakfast accommodation. Seven guest rooms are available which feature wooden floor boards. All rooms are air conditioned and include a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer and ironing facilities. Some have a private en suite while other have shared bathroom facilities. The front desk is open during certain hours. The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens and the guest house features a large verandah and a communal lounge room which features a TV and magazines and books which can be borrowed. Free on-site parking is available and guests also have free use of bicycles. A complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning. Byron Springs is a five-minute walk from Arakwal National Park and a 12-minute walk away from the beach. Byron Bay Golf Course is a four-minute drive away.

A small property with seven rooms, the atmosphere is a relaxed and social one, with a shared terrace and breakfast area where you can socialise with other guests. The staff have also been described as warm, friendly and welcoming.
The hotel is located close to a main road. Guests reported that there there is a lot of traffic and you're sleep may be disturbed due to this. The rooms themselves also have poor soundproofing and guests complained that they could hear other guests coming and going, the loud noise of walking across wooden floor boards and also being disturbed by the loud TV volume in neighbouring rooms.
Guests reported that some rooms are smaller than others and the loft room has a low ceiling where you can easily bump your head. Rooms located at the back of the house are not recommended as there is little ventilation and guests also reported a lack of privacy due to guests using the shared bathroom facilities in that area.
Guests reported that Guesthouse does not provide good value for money. The rooms are sparsely furnished and cleaning is not provided during the stay. A complimentary continental breakfast is provided however the items are not always replenished.
