Positive Reviews
positive:
Kid heaven.
Kids didn't want to leave Great Wolf Lodge, and parents were also happy to partake in the fun. From the comfortably heated 84 degree water park with jaw-dropping slides, to the action adventure Magiquest game, kids definitely had a blast at this hotel.
positive:
Staff aim to please.
Friendly staff did their best to make memorable visits for young guests. Fun and games were made great by kid-centric staff that really wanted to impress. Attentive lifeguards who took their job seriously, and wait staff willing to accommodate picky palates, was the icing on the cake.
positive:
Easy eating.
Guests loved that they could purchase meal plans, which not only saved money, but made it so they didn't have to leave the resort or worry about what to do for the next meal.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Too busy at times.
This popular resort was heavy on the line-ups at peak times like weekends and school breaks. Some guests noted lengthy waits at check-in, with up to 50 guests impatiently waiting to get to their rooms. Line-ups at the water park were also a problem for families with kids on the go.
negative:
Expensive for some.
While many guests found the Great Wolf Lodge to be a great value, others were feeling the financial strain. Those not opting to purchase a meal plan felt that meals were quite pricey, and were less than enamored with the value of food compared to quality. Several parents felt that the arcade was the place where they were least happy to open their wallet.
negative:
Noise could be a factor.
A lot of kids under one roof made for a noisy experience for some. Most guests were prepared for a boisterous atmosphere, but those with rooms located near certain venues were affected most. You may want to avoid rooms near the water park or arcade if children needing to nap are traveling with you.
