Request a sea-facing room and wake up to the great British seaside on your doorstep. If you're lucky enough to have a balcony, you'll be able to enjoy your morning coffee outside as you breathe in the fresh air at England's south coast.

Despite some refurbishment inside the property, some guests still feel that Grand Hotel Hastings would be vastly improved if was updated with fresh decoration and modern furnishings.

Stairs are a little worrying
Unfortunately, a small number of guests have raised concerns about the stairs to some of the upper bedrooms, with some saying they were narrow, crooked and not as easy to use as they expected. Other guests were frustrated with the amount of stairs they needed to climb with their luggage to access their rooms.
