Gemini Resort is a beachfront apartment complex overlooking Caloundra. This perfectly located property features a lagoon-style pool and a floodlit tennis court. Guests at this aparthotel can choose from one, two, or three bedroom apartments all of which are fully self-contained and feature kitchens, living rooms with flat-screen TVs, laundry facilities and patio or balcony. Kids can enjoy the children’s pool while grown-ups relax in the outdoor or indoor heated spas. There’s also a sauna on-site while further amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, free parking, barbecue facilities, and a games room. It’s just a short walk to local restaurants such as My Beach Spot, Pappardelle's Golden Beach, and Thai Golden Beach Takeaway and Café. Gemini Resort is an eight-minute drive from Club Golf Pelican Waters and twelve minutes from Corbould Park Racecourse. Caloundra Power Boat Club is just a short three-minute drive from the hotel.
The balconies in each unit offer fantastic views. Of course the views are better on the higher floors but even on the lower floors you can still relax in comfort on your balcony or patio. The area is very nice and quiet making it perfect for families.
The people that work here are incredibly accommodating and have moved guests to other rooms to avoid noise during renovation work. They are very friendly too and have plenty of advice to offer on the local area.
Each of the units is individually owned so you get a real home from home vibe when staying here. It's not at all like a chain hotel and guests are impressed by the level of comfort in their apartments. Everything is in great shape.
This place is in a great location, but it's not exactly a tourist hotspot, so guests are a little confused as to why the rates are a little high. They also say that the place is basic enough so not really worth the added cost.
