Positive Reviews
positive:
Very spacious rooms
Guests were pretty much in complete agreement that the rooms at Esatitude were very good indeed. One thing that they really enjoyed was the size of the rooms, saying that they were much larger than rooms they usually stayed in, and also more than big enough for the number of people booked in.
positive:
Spotlessly clean
Another aspect of the rooms that all seemed agreed on was that they were simply spotlessly clean on check-in. There were no complaints regarding room cleanliness to be found among the reviews.
positive:
Good parking right next door
While the hotel came in for a bit of criticism due to its location far from the city centre, one group that seemed to be impressed were motorists. They said that there was a very convenient parking lot right next door which always seemed to have spots available and was just steps from the doors.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Very far from the city centre
This was perhaps the most common of the criticisms. The fact is that the hotel is some distance from both the Old Town and the Promenade des Anglais. While some accepted this as being compensated for in the room-rate, others felt they should have spent a bit more and been a bit more central.
negative:
Breakfast ends much too early
This was a sore point among quite a few guests, especially those who had a rate that included breakfast. While it was said to be decent in terms of taste and so on, several guests mentioned that the official time to enjoy it ends absurdly early, especially for somebody travelling for leisure.
negative:
Poor English skills
Though it seemed to be a bigger problem for those who were not native English speakers themselves, some mentioned that it was difficult communicating with staff in English.
