Danhostel Ringsted is a few minutes’ walk from the Ringsted’s town centre. We are housed in the historical "Amtstuegaard" and have 16 family rooms, all with private bathrooms. Ringsted is one of Zealand's oldest cities and is located about 60 km from Copenhagen. During the Middle Ages, Ringsted was the main town on Zealand. The city dates back to Viking times but is now a modern commercial and cultural city with a convention centre, concert hall and theatre. There are yearly concerts, fairs, festivals, plus swimming facilities, parks, museums, breweries, restaurants and cafes. Close to our hostel, you will find St. Bendt's Church, the town’s landmark, which contains the tombs of several Danish royalties.
