Positive Reviews
positive:
Wonderful staff.
Very friendly and helpful; staff members are efficient too. Restaurant service, for instance, is very good and professional in style. This is a popular place with bikers and walkers. Turn up drenched (*it happens quite a lot!) and they'll show you the boiler room where clothes can dry out … prior to the next downpour!
positive:
Nice rooms and good food.
Rooms are very clean and welcoming and no need to worry about finding a parking space; there are masses of it here. The king size beds are great and there's no shortage of hot water to relax in at the end of an arduous day. The restaurant is really very good. There are neighbouring alternatives but there's little enthusiasm for turning out when what is on offer here is so appealing.
positive:
Cheap daytime eating.
If you're out for the day, it's worth paying a visit to a couple of village shops to stock up on provisions. Armed with lovely pies from the butcher and equally impressive bread rolls from the general store, your midday meals are covered.
