The hotel is very close to the central train station in Milan and very convenient to any onward journey. A number of guests only stayed for one night owning to the hotel's proximity to the station, and these guests thought that it represented great value for money.
The cleanliness of the rooms got rave reviews from people who stayed at the hotel. Previous guests also commented about how comfortable the beds were and that they generally got a great nights sleep whilst staying at Canova.
A number of people commented specifically on the breakfast that was provided but the hotel with many saying that the selection of meats, eggs, cheese, cereals and bread was excellent, as that there was plenty to choose from for any appetite.
On arrival, some guests were extremely disappointed that the air-conditioning unit attached to their room was broken and could no be fixed during their stay, remarks indicated that no remedy or discount was offered by the hotel except to mask dubious smell with air-freshner.
