Nestled in the rainforest, at the foothills of Wollumbin (Mount Warning) and under an hour drive from the world-famous beaches of the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, you’ll find Mt Warning Rainforest Park. The Park is situated at the entrance to the World Heritage Listed Mount Warning - Wollumbin National Park offering access to the Breakfast Creek Picnic Area and Lyrebird track – a short walk in Wollumbin National Park. It leads from Mount Warning Road across Breakfast Creek to a lookout surrounded by rainforest. The quaint town of Uki is situated 4k south of Mount Warning and offers a general store, cafes, a pie shop, coffee shop/post office, art galleries, a historical society, antique and gift stores, fair trade wares and unique wood furniture. The Uki Community Hall hosts Yoga / Pilates / Dance / Capoeira classes weekly as well as the Saturday morning Farmers Markets. The Uki Buttery Bazaar Market is on every 3rd Sunday of the month, featuring live music and a variety of stalls. Pack your bikes to enjoy Uki’s Mountain Bike Park in the picturesque valley of the Wollumbin (Mount Warning) or check out other nearby attractions such as Cram’s Farm on the Clarrie Hall Dam for a stunning day out on or by the dam OR the coast meets country town of Murwillumbah. At Mt Warning Rainforest Park our cabins are self-contained: Eco Cottages are 2 bedrooms with one bedroom offering a queen bed and the other room a queen and a single; the Kookaburra Cabins are 2 bedrooms having 2 configurations offering a main bedroom with double bed and either 4 single beds (2 bunks) or a double bed with a single bed above. The grounds offer a large swimming pool and outdoor games area, outdoor BBQs and Kitchens, lush gardens, an abundance of wildlife, and a creek meandering through it.
