Ivalo River Camping & Resort is a family owned camping with many services. In main building you will find reception, a pub / cafeteria and a souvenir shop. The property is open throughout the year. Pub is open during summertime every evening until late in the night. During winter the pub has late opening hours on Wednesday-Saturday. Distances from Ivalo River Camping: Ivalo village centre 4 km; Airport 6 km; Saariselkä Ski-Resort 26 km. There is a bus-stop just outside the camping. In summertime there are bikes and in winter kick-sledges for free use by customers. There are holiday cottages with all facilities, also a sauna. In the camp-site there is basic-cabins with fridge/coffee machine/ microwave. In service building you will find toilets, showers and kitchen. Ivalo Safaris will offer you following: rental cars; husky safaris; Aurora haunting safaris; ice fishing trips; snowmobile / reindeer safaris; snow-shoe trips; thermal outfits and shoes for rent. From end of November until April there is a reindeer park, with free entrance. You can feed the reindeers with the hosts in the morning or evenings.
