About BaseCamp NorthCape - by Hytte Camp
Kirkeporten Camping is the world's northernmost campground. There are only 12km to North Cape. The campground is located next to Storvannet in Skarsvåg, which offers a multitude of boating and fishing opportunities. The trail to the popular sight Kirkeporten goes close to the campground. The campground has 16 cabins: 6 with shower and toilet, and 10 basic cabins with 4 beds in each. In addition we have a large house, "Låven", with 5 rooms in two sections, each with shower and toilet. Pillows and duvets in each cabin and room. Bedlinen can be hired (fixed fee NOK 75 extra pr. bed). Tent areas are idyllically placed by Storvannet. In the service house you will find common showers and toilets, a laundry and a family room. There is a cafeteria that serves local dishes and breakfast.If you prefer to make your own meals there are good facilities to aid you. Free wi-fi access. Payment by arrival with cash or card. Main season: 15.May - 20.September
