Located on the Kempt Head Road, 22 km off the Trans Canada Hwy #105, our centrally located Bed and Breakfast and 100-acre organic farm boasts a stunning view of the Bras d’Or Lake (our inland sea), the Barra Strait and Iona, Beinn Bhreagh (the final resting place of Alexander Graham Bell), and Baddeck (gateway to the world famous Cabot Trail). We are approximately 40 minutes from Baddeck. Relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of our Bed and Breakfast while you take in the fabulous sunsets. We invite you to join us in the evening for conversation, tea (or your own stronger brew) and a light snack. PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: - All bedrooms are on the second floor. - We are SMOKE-FREE both in the house and on the grounds - Although it is a lovely drive up the Kempt Head Road to our farm, if you are arriving in the evening you will want to ensure that you have eaten your supper before arrival. - We have pets (in the house) and livestock. - Pet friendly. Well behaved dogs are welcome with advance notice. They must be kept on the leash at all times while on the property. Cash or e-money transfer only. Cheques accepted for advanced reservations.
