Originally a farmstead built in the mid-1800s, the Red House Country Inn is nestled within the beautiful 16,000 acre Finger Lakes National Forest. Summer at The Red House Located on the east side of Seneca Lake, its beautiful rolling hills of forest and woods contain over 30 miles of maintained hiking, nature, and cross-country ski trails along with innumerable stocked ponds. Trails are picked up right at the Inn. The lovely restored farmhouse offers warm, comfortable rooms furnished throughout with turn-of-the-century antiques. A warm and comfy public room (living room), large veranda (porch), prayer garden in the orchard with a cozy gazebo, flower beds, and picnic areas are provided for your relaxation.
