positive:
Unforgettable, verdant setting
Having a roof garden and a quaint courtyard made guests feel like they had serenity and greenery while being in the centre of Rome. Guests noted that the place was full of charm and thoughtful aesthetics with lush trees, plants and flowers. The hotel came highly recommended due to its unique setting.
positive:
An authentic, local experience
This is not a cookie-cutter hotel, but a unique, local experience, several guests said. They described a well-decorated room with antique furniture mixed with all the modern amenities.
positive:
Quiet location close to attractions
Although the Episcopo Lipinsky is near the subway and the always-popular Spanish Steps, it is located far enough to be away from the crowd and traffic noise. You can walk to Piazza del Popolo and the Piazza de Spagna, and revel in the nightlife and late-night restaurants, without having to try to sleep in all the noise.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Air conditioner has breakdowns
The air conditioner didn't function for several guests, who were staying at the hotel in the height of summer. This made for extremely high temperatures inside the room that made it hard for some guests to sleep.
negative:
Ancient lift to take you up
The elevator seemed old and creaky, which scared some guests. You have to operate it with a magnetic key and several guests thought the lift seemed unsafe, because it had bars instead of a solid door.
negative:
Not cleaned daily
Some guests were disappointed that housekeeping didn't make the beds, change the towels and clean the room daily. The lack of attention to that kind of detail cheapened the experience at the hotel.
