Quaint, B&B-style hotel.
Each room is decorated differently, with old antiques providing a lovely atmosphere to your stay, making it comfy, clean and cosy.

You will find the continental breakfast buffet, including freshly squeezed orange juice, to be a welcome addition to your day, especially when it is complimentary and comes with views of the Grand Canal.

Some rooms disappointingly small.
While not all guests found this a problem, some were unhappy with the size of the rooms, and also found the bathrooms and showers to be too compact for their liking

Hard to find for some.
It is not hard to imagine, but it is easy to get lost in Venice’s narrow streets and alleys, so make sure you take careful note of the directions and keep in mind the San Silvestro water taxi stop may not be in service when you visit.

Lift and luxury considerations.
While Ca’ Angeli does have a lift, there appears to have been some problems with it, so enquire with the hotel if it will be a necessity for your stay. Also keep in mind that this hotel is comfortable but not modern or luxurious. Like the last issue, this
