Fontenay le Comte is a city of art and history, the historic capital of southern Vendée. Beaux Esprits is a mansion built for Charles Louis Perreau in 1780 on an existing site dating from the 16th and 17th century. This mansion, built in dressed stone, has been tastefully renovated to preserve its historic past and offers 3 comfortable and lovely rooms. The friendly Beaux Esprits guest house warmly welcomes you all year round to the historic centre of Fontenay le Comte with views of the Baron Park and within easy reach of shops and restaurants. In Hortense room, spend a charming night in an Art Deco ambience, or in the Aliénor room with its luxury ambiance, 2 windows give onto the quiet street and afford magnificent views of the orangery beside the Baron Park with its Boulaye tower. In Adélaïde guest room you’ll be spending a night in the arms of mother Nature, with its flamingo-adorned wallpaper. The room gives onto the interior courtyard.
