The property is a careful refurbishment of a 1300 A.D. Fort barn and hayloft originally belonging to the noble Farnese family. The stone built cellar and the wood-burning oven have been carefully brought back to their original state, to renew the memory of old recipes. All rooms have been refurbished using modern wellness-conscious architectural solutions; at the same time the classic feel has been left untouched.
