Positive Reviews
positive:
Four-Legged Fun
You can bring your pet along, which is great if you enjoy travelling with your four-legged friend. The hotel allows dogs in the annexe area and you will be charged an additional fee. The area is not as up-to-date as other parts of the hotel, but it's nice to be able to bring your pet pooch along, if you desire to do so.
positive:
Take In The Hotel Grounds
The grounds of the facility are lovely. You can spend half the day just walking around absorbed in the historical pictures that portrays a narrative of the hotel's famous visitors.
positive:
An All Around Decent Hotel
Staff is congenial, attentive, and helpful. The food is good quality, the rooms are comfortable, though the bathroom is somewhat outdated. Communal areas are contemporary with a nice bar and restaurant and an outstanding view across the bay.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Banging The Pipes
You may have an issue with the radiator pipe knocking throughout the night, which may greatly disturb your sleep.
negative:
It's A Slow Day
Service is quite slow, especially during breakfast time. There seems to be no management and it takes forever for a request to be carried out. It doesn't appear to be a shortage of staff; however, coordination is poor. Better management would greatly improve customer service in an otherwise decent facility.
negative:
Price Doesn't Match the Size
Rooms are small and there are no leisure facilities. In addition, there is little competition in the area. It would be nice if the hotel made improvements like retouching the paint work. It could make a big difference in its overall appeal.
