Positive Reviews
positive:
Unique and memorable rooms
If you are looking for upscale luxury when staying in Budapest, few accommodation choices offer the contemporary quality provided by the Baltazár Budapest - according to the feedback of past guests. Yet not only are the rooms styled in a bold and memorable way, but they are also said to be very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
positive:
Prime Budapest location
Situated in the castle area of Budapest and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants and shops, virtually all former visitors were thrilled with the hotel's location. Yet despite this central position in the city, it has been reported that the accommodation is in a quiet and relaxing area.
positive:
Helpful and friendly staff
When it comes to customer service, most previous guests were appreciative of this aspect of the Baltazár Budapest. Along with a warm and friendly attitude, the staff - when available - will always be willing to help and offer assistance when required.
Negative Reviews
negative:
Breakfast not included
The breakfast was a source of dislike for one reason: it is not inclusive with staying at the Baltazár Budapest. In addition, the omission of tea/coffee making facilities as standard with the rooms was criticised by numerous former visitors.
negative:
Limited front desk hours
Whilst it was not an issue for many, a small minority complained that the hotel's front desk was not manned on a 24-hour basis. As a result, staff members are not always available to offer assistance if needed.
negative:
Lack of public facilities
Although it possesses a full-scale restaurant and bar on-site, the Baltazár Budapest is lacking in public facilities - such as a swimming pool and fitness centre - when compared to larger establishments in Budapest. This has proved to be a source of criticism in the past from previous visitors.
