There's no doubt about it, the hotel's location is fantastic, for the most part. It's adjacent to the Palladium Shopping Mall, and around the corner from Na Príkope, Prague's main shopping street. A short distance from the hotel are plenty of Old Town attractions along with a Cuban theme bar. Concerts are held each night at Prague's Municipal House at reasonable prices. A half-block away is public transportation if you don't feel like walking; however, walking is the best way to get acquainted with the city.
The reception staff at the hotel are a superb bunch. They speak good English and easy to communicate with. Moreover, they are very helpful with good advice on places to see and eat. Housekeeping is pleasant as well. You receive fresh towels each day and anything else you need.
It would be great if a mini-fridge or coffee and tea making utensils were in the room. Not all rooms have air conditioning either. One thing that is not missing is a city tax; however, it's not very much.
If you get a room at the front of the hotel, it's going to be very noisy due to the street traffic like trams. It's best to ask for a room at the back of the hotel, if you are a light sleeper.
Smoking and non-smoking rooms are on the same floor, which means that if you are a non-smoker you're going to get a good whiff of cigarette smoke.
